Pain-free living is possible with acupuncture

What we treat

Glacier Blue Acupuncture treats a wide range of concerns—especially those tied to pain, stress, inflammation, and chronic imbalance. Whether you’re dealing with something new or something that’s been lingering for years, we’ll look at the full picture and create a plan tailored to your body and your goals.

Sports Medicine & Pain Relief

Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, you’re a weekend warrior, crushing it at CrossFit, training for a race, or you simply want to move through life with less discomfort, sports medicine acupuncture can help.

Wellness & Stress Management

When your nervous system stays in overdrive, you may notice anxiety, tension headaches, poor sleep, digestive irregularities, and fatigue. Acupuncture helps calm and regulate the nervous system.

Fertility & Women’s Health

Whether you’ve been trying to conceive for a while or you’re just beginning your fertility journey, Glacier Blue Acupuncture is here to support you. We’ll work with you to build a personalized treatment plan based on your cycle, symptoms, health history, and goals.

What to expect at your visit

Every visit starts with a detailed intake so we can understand the root patterns behind your symptoms—not just the surface complaint. You’ll receive a customized acupuncture treatment (and recommendations such as herbs or self-care when appropriate), along with a clear plan for frequency and follow-up so you know what to expect between visits.

Intake & Assessment

We review your symptoms, health history, lifestyle factors, and goals. For pain and injury concerns, we may also assess range of motion, movement patterns, and tender areas.

Plan & Next Steps

We discuss what we found, what to expect, and a simple plan based on your goals and how your body responds.

FAQs

Acupuncture is a hands on, evidence informed therapy that uses very thin, sterile, single use needles to stimulate specific points on the body. From a Western medicine perspective, many of these points sit near dense networks of nerves, connective tissue, and small blood vessels. Stimulating them can influence how the nervous system processes pain and stress, and how the body regulates tension, circulation, and recovery.

Most people find acupuncture relaxing. Some notice changes quickly, such as lighter pain, easier movement, or better sleep. Ongoing issues typically improve with a short plan of care over several visits.

Acupuncture is safe when performed by a licensed professional using sterile, single use needles. We also screen for red flags and refer out when appropriate.

Glacier Blue Acupuncture accepts VA benefits and is out-of-network with most insurance plans. Many patients are still able to use insurance benefits if their plan covers acupuncture—we can provide an itemized receipt that you can submit for potential reimbursement.

Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend calling your insurance provider to confirm your benefits. If you’d like, we can tell you exactly what to ask when you call.
